We are a team of 23 employees with broad competence and varied experiences. Together, we create a work environment characterized by collaboration, commitment, and well-being. Our operations cover Clinical Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine, sample collection, as well as blood and plasma donation. The activities within clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine are conducted around the clock. The laboratory's sample collection clinic receives patients on weekdays during daytime for venous or capillary sampling as well as stress tests.

At the laboratory, you rotate between different workstations based on your qualifications, which creates great variation in tasks and gives you the opportunity to develop broad competence. As a biomedical laboratory scientist with us, you work independently with laboratory tasks. Your main responsibilities include analysis, assessment, and technical approval of samples in the areas of clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, coagulation, PNA, and transfusion medicine. We also have a sample collection clinic where you perform both venous and capillary sampling on patients. As an assistant nurse, you work at the laboratory's sample collection with venous and capillary sampling as well as stress tests. Ordering consumables and some sample handling may also be part of the job.

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical laboratory scientist or assistant nurse. You find it easy to collaborate with others and provide a positive and respectful attitude towards both colleagues and patients. You can work both independently and in a team, are responsible and flexible. You have good prioritization skills even in stressful situations. You are quality-conscious and actively contribute to the development of the operation.

It is important that you enjoy working with patients and that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Since the laboratory is staffed around the clock, every day of the year, you as a biomedical laboratory scientist are expected to be flexible and willing to work according to a shift schedule. Previous experience in laboratory work is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good interpersonal skills, sense of responsibility, teamwork, and quality awareness.
